MASTIFFS IN NEED OR DISTRESS

Helping Mastiffs in Need of a Secure Future

This is Sashas Sad Story

These are photos of Sasha , a young girl of approx 10 months of age . I make no apologies for showing these photos . I am absolutely disgusted by the state that this poor mite has been allowed to get to . Her condition is appalling and she can hardly stand due to the emaciated state that her body is in . Every bone in her young body is clearly visible .

The sadness in her eyes speaks volumes  .She was another that was dumped and left to fend for herself , yet Sasha would have  started her life just like any other puppy , she would have been  a playful bundle of fun with lots of love to give and  a trusting nature of whoever took her into their home . That trust was exploited and destroyed by whoever that piece of work was . She has in her short life been let down by the breeder that sold her and the so called ''home'' that she went to . There is also evidence by her demeanour  that she has suffered some sort of physical abuse ,  although despite her ordeal she is still very people friendly. We have since learned that Sasha was thrown outside into a garden with  no shelter and by her condition was obviously given very little food to eat .  How she has got this far is a miracle.

Sasha is going to need long term care and rehabilitation .

To be able to give Sasha the treatment and care that she needs we are  having to appeal to your generosity . A donation however small will give Sasha the chance to recover and go on to find a family that will give her the loving home she deserves.

UPDATE SASHA EMERGENCY CASE IN VETS

Sasha hadn't been eating as well as we had expected , and we were originally told   that she was in heat .This was not the case she was actually haemorrhaging , also her breathing was not good .  She had x rays done on her chest and stomach .Her lungs were full of fluid , we think her stomach was probably bleeding because she had been so badly beaten and kicked by someone, and couldnt eat because of the trauma to her intestines . The vet sedated her so that she would be able to breath properly and also pumped her full of antibiotics to fight of the infection in her chest .  She was also put on a drip .  Sadly despite all of the efforts of the vet Sasha passed away this morning . She never came around .  I think that the scum that had thrown her out originally had left her in such an horrendous  state that her poor body just couldn't cope .

The only thing I can console myself with is at least she has gone to a better place , I am just saddened that we didnt get to her in time and I hope she knew that in her final days she was surrounded by love . R.I.P  Sasha.

There are more dogs like Sasha out there suffering  everyday, SOMEONE  has to care about them .
