MASTIFFS IN NEED OR DISTRESS

Victor and Ralph were brought to us by the Dog Warden . They were both only a few months old , probably litter brothers .They had been dumped in someones garden in the freezing cold . No shelter , no food , NOTHING. They could do no harm to anyone , yet some despicable low life  had decided that they could do harm to them by leaving them  to fend for themselves . They were both starving , seriously malnutrioned and filthy when they arrived .That was just the beginning . Although they were both ravenous they appeared not to be able to eat food , they didnt know what to do with it . So we fed warm milk to start and mushy food , which they ate . But something was wrong , as fast as they ate it came straight out , they also started passing a lot of blood ,this was serious . They were both rushed to the vet and put onto drips , but within a couple of hours we knew that the poor souls were not going to pull through . Whatever damage had been done to them had taken hold and they were fading fast . Regretfully, we had to make the painful , heartbreaking decision to let Victor and Ralph go peacefully . In their short lives  they had only known kindness and love briefly .

I make no apologies for saying that if I ever find out who left them that I will not be responsible for my actions .All it would have taken is one telephone call and things could have been a lot different.
