MASTIFFS IN NEED OR DISTRESS

We currently are tryng to find a home for Rooney, a bull mastiff cross.  He has been on our books for a few months and now urgently requires a home/foster home.

Here are some details:

Rooney is an 18-month-old Bullmastiff-cross.
Rooney is in urgent need of a new home as his present owner is about to move home due to a separation.
Rooney has lived with young children of 18 months and 2 1/2 years, but as he is very bouncy he should be homed with older children.

Rooney needs to be the only dog in a home.

Rooney needs to find a home within the next 3 weeks

Fudge has been with our centre since 6^th September 2007. She is a very friendly girl. She is 6 years old, neutered female Neopolitan Mastiff X English Mastiff. She has a wonderful temperament and is a firm favourite with all the staff. Unfortunately we have had no interest in her at all, but we are unsure why as she has no medical or temperamental problems. After having done our assessments, we feel she would be best suited to a home where she is the only animal as she really needs a one to one home. We also feel she would need to live with older children of 15 years and over due to her size.

 STAR **SPECIAL APPEAL** Boxer x Bullmastiff

Star is a cross that we took in from the pound after she had served her 7 days and was due to be put to sleep. As you can see she is very emaciated and had probably been straying for some time without food or water. Star is a boxer cross bulmastiff. She is a lovely girl and would really love a home before christmas or even the new year.
Star is not keen on other dogs or cats, so would be best as the only pet in the house. As we do not know her history we will not home her with young kids.
Star is vaccinated & chipped, but recently came into season so will have to be spayed in 3 months time.
